Based on the Foundation of the People Republic of China (PRC) Horoscope

WHY The PRC-regime totally irreligious ?

Why religion and spirituality is important for civilized living?

In the mundane horoscope, 9th H relates to spirituality, faith and religion of a country. In the PRC foundation horoscope 9th H and 9th L Mercury both are afflicted:

We can see, 9th L Mercury is placed in the 9th H in Virgo. 

This could have made 9th H in China’s horoscope very strong, and it is strong in way – China does well in Higher University Level Education. 

This 9th L is conjunct with the 8th L Sun (research), so China is good at researching on various subjects of higher knowledge. 

So 9th H is working well for China in generation of the objective knowledge of the material science.

But 9th H is highly afflicted too.

Sun (the 8th L) is present in the 9th H and #combusting the 9th L Mercury.

Ketu is present in the 9th H.

Mercury is in between Sun and Ketu

So we see, the human touch is missing in the knowledge that are getting generated in China.

There is no spirituality in the over-all approach.

Spirituality is not about religion and prayer only. Spirituality is about love, care, faith, optimism and empathy.

With the 9th L Mercury combust by the 8th L Sun, and Ketu also present there only, China is lacking  in the spiritual touch in its approach towards higher knowledge. A knowledge that lacks spiritual touch can not give you a human vision. You will not think of its consequences when you pursue that knowledge – or when you do the technological exploitation of that knowledge.

For example, there are many areas of research in modern science that raises ethical questions, I can take the name of Human Cloning or The Technology of Bio Engineered Seeds… there are many such new areas of science coming-up actually, I have named only two.

It is very important for the scientific-organizations to weigh the ethical issues involved when they fund for such kinds of research, else it may happen that in our pursuit of generating knowledge we may create an instrument of our own destruction (latest example – COVID-19, my question is why even do such a research to make an animal virus capable of infecting humans in the first place).

 When we include too much of #dialectical #materialism into our value system and refuse to believe in “God” , and that makes us refuse to believe in the subjective good things like love, empathy… etc. we become spiritually irresponsible, and then we can create any knowledge, any technology … without considering about how that will affect the humanity or society. This is what China may do – a government that lacks spirituality.

So China completely lacks spirituality.  Else how can a country celebrate something as brutal as Dog Meat Festival – the way Dogs are killed and displayed, it is very disgusting for me to even look at those images.

The generations of Chinese people have shown cruelty against animals, and the way they treat each other. The way Chinese Government ordered massacre of agitating students on Tiananmen Square in the year 1989 – how can a government brutally kill its own citizens using army?! – this is the symptom of non-spirituality in the society. And we can see how the afflicted 9th H in the PRC foundation horoscope is hinting for this.

Afflicted 9th H is often indicative of ancestral bad karma. China government, and Chinese population has indeed been generating a lot of ancestral bad karmas since many centuries I guess. This may invite lots of future hardships on the future generations of Chinese population. They have already suffered a lot in the World War -2. Chinese population is already suffering a lot in present also under a repressive government.

Vedic Astrology and China – Part-2

In the PRC-foundation Vedic Horoscope, Mars is placed in the 7th H. Mars is the ruler of the 4th H and 11th H and placed in the 7th H.

China uses the threat of war and often provokes disputes with other countries to gain more LAND and CREATES more opportunities of TRADE for itself. This Mars is seeing (Vedic Aspecting) the 10th H and 1st H – the Chinese leadership has a constant war-mongering  tendencies.

Mars is also seeing the 2nd H – Mars as 11th L, sitting in the 7th H and seeing the 2nd H – this is a great interconnection of houses in China’s horoscope that hints that China will mostly gain from all its foreign bilateral engagements.

Mars is debilitated in Cancer in the 7th H – a debilitated  planet may choose to behave in an abased manner. 

China is known to betray its friends. It uses all kinds of tactics to extract maximum opportunistic  gain from its every partner country. In Africa, and also in Pakistan, China is very much behaving like a European colonial power countries in 18th and 19th Century. China is gone to these areas for trade and business and is now acquiring land and ports (Mars is 4th L) in a big way. China lured Sri Lanka into taking huge loans from itself, and when it became difficult for Sri Lanka to pay-off the loan, China manipulated Sri Lanka into giving away an important sea-port.

With India, Vietnam, Taiwan and few other neighbors… China always begin by claiming its sovereignty over a part of land belonging to the other country, then it starts using all kinds of pressure game including the threat of war, its army will suddenly become aggressive on the boarder and occupy a few kilometers of the land of the neighboring country, and then it will unilaterally announce cease-fire and will start sending diplomatic signals to the country whose small piece of land it just acquired – why? – China also does not want to go into a full scale war (at least now), and it keeps slicing small pieces of lands of the other countries, then in order to make the new reality a status-quo it starts talking peace and displomacy, the other country is lured into coming to the discussion table and the land grabbed by China is gone forever.

Things have been going well for China till now. But from October 2019 onwards China has started the Mercury main period. Mercury is retrograde and combust. Mercury is squeezed between Sun and Ketu. So now the next 17 years is not going to be that good for China. It may see mass-deaths due to epidemics (Mercury is conjunct with 8th L Sun) and war. Its trade and business will also go down. Some of its leaders my suddenly die leaving a vacuum. And this is also not a good time for the China’s geographical integrity. If China goes into economic recession, it will not be easy for the ruling-regime to suppress its inner contradictions and discontent of the general Chinese population. China may even break into few parts like former USSR.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please understand, this is the foundation horoscope of the People Republic of China (PRC). China has existed from before. So even before the formation of the PRC , things were evolving in China at mundane level – creating ripples in time and triggering the chain-reaction of the events. The formation of PRC obviously was caused by what existed before, and by the chain of events that preceded the formation of PRC.

So we should understand that in the matter of China, astrologically there has been one original wave of the unfolding destiny that  has been evolving and expanding since   ancient time. (The is true for every nation).

 The foundation of PRC  (People Republic of China) is just a big EVENT in that wave, after which things were substantially different from in the past.

So when we start analyzing China from the “foundation horoscope of PRC” we should remember we are actually analyzing  the  journey and evolution of things that was born at that moment – the modern Chinese Govt.,  and the political and administrative set-up that came-up in China after that. 

This horoscope can  tell us that how the NEW SETUP will affect the local pre-existing things (population, culture… etc) and the overall-world. 

But many things will still be receiving “astrological impetus” from the horoscopes of the land-mark-events (of the past) in China that may have happened before the foundation of the PRC (e.g .The Revolt of 1911) So it is important to understand that this horoscope of China made on the basis of The Foundation of PRC is only indicative of a major-superposing-factor in the overall wave-of-the-unfolding-destiny of China.

Yes it is a fact that when many waves mix, each wave produces its effect independent of others (when they all combine) , to produce  the superposed-compound- wave. And as we progress in time, a component wave created in the remote past may loose energy and intensity, resulting in the Newer Component Waves showing-up more in the overall superimposed compound wave. 

So the horoscopes of other-past-landmark-events (before the formation of PRC) may now be affecting things less than the horoscope at the time of the foundation of the PRC. So this horoscope may be used to broadly understand the China’s unfolding destiny to some an extent.

#Introductory #Highlights of the Foundation PRC Horoscope

Canpricorn ASC., and the ASC. L Saturn is sitting in the 8th H in Leo.

This indicates that the PRC is born as an outcome of a  Communist Revolution and Civil War (8th H, Saturn) against the Kuomintang or Chinese Nationalist Party (CNP) ruled govt. [ LEO]. Moon is in the ascendant – this was a people’s revolution that led to the birth of the PRC.

ASC. L Saturn placed in the 8th H – the new regime will be secretive, mysterious, unconventional. It will prefer to surprise the world with its un-expected and sudden moves.

Most strategic and political observers can not predict the next move that the PRC-regime (Present Chinese Govt.) may take.

The PRC was born in the fag-end of the Sun main period – the sub-period was of Venus and the sub-sub-period was of Ketu.

Sun is 8th L (revolution) sitting in the 9th H (ideology) – this revolution was also based on changing the very ideology of governance and economy in China – China adopted Marxist and Leninist system after this.

Sub-period ruler Venus rules 5th H (popular) 10th H (leadership) – Venus 10th L is sitting in the 10th H (strong leadership – authoritarian). It was a popular revolution led by a strong and organized leadership.

Sub-sub-period Ketu = placed in the 9th H with 9th L Mercury = break from the past ideology. Mercury is also 6th L (it was not a peaceful revolution).

Saturn the ascendant lord seeing (vedic aspect) both the 10th H and 5th H. Strongly controlled (Saturn = control and restriction) system “ruthless” kind of governance that will put the whole country to any amount of pain to achieve its political and financial objectives.

(Why this kind of government came in China, that does not respect any human rights? That kills any voice of opposition ruthlessly? – it must be related to the karma of the Chinese nation before PRC. )

ASC. L Saturn placed in the 8th H makes this Chinese-regime unpredictable and unconventional. It can itself bring drastic changes in China if needed.

Between 1949 to 1976, in the era of Mao Zedong, it was a closed-economy  and strictly Socialist in which everything was nationalized and every element of Capitalism was ruthlessly and systematically  eradicated.

 From 1978 onwards, when Den Xiaoping arrived, things were radically changed – Open Door Policy  was adopted. Foreign Investment was encouraged. Special Economic Zones (SEZs) were developed. And China slowly became economically Capitalist while politically still remaining a Socialist.

Sidereal vs Western Astrology

Many people keep wondering that why their sign placements change when they go from western to vedic...

First Note the following

Vedic Astrology is based on #sidereal zodiac, and Western Astrology is based on #tropical zodiac.

** In tropical zodiac (used in western), we start marking signs on the zodiac from the vernal-equinox point. So in western tropical system, the 0° Aries will always coincide with the Vernal-Equinox point. VE however is not a fixed point. VE is slowly moving backwards approximately @ 1° per 72 years. This happens because of the precession of the earth's axis. So in 72 years from now, what you call 29° Pisces in western astrology today, will become the 0° Aries as per Western

Let is call the western tropical 0° Aries point that is located at VE point as WTO (western tropical origin point) on the zodiac.

** In sidereal zodiac (used in vedic), we start marking signs on the zodiac with reference to a very very distant fixed star that is part of many stars which form the background of our zodiac. 

So in vedic sidereal system, the 0° Aries is a fixed point identified with reference to a fixed star. 

Let is call the vedic sidereal 0° Aries point that is a fixed point on the zodiac as VSO (vedic sidereal origin point) on the zodiac

** At one time (nearly 2000 years ago) the WTO coincided with the VSO. 

But as the VE (vernal equinox) point is moving backwards approximately @ 1 deg per 72 years, so obviously WTO point too is shifting backwards, and a gap is being created between the WTO and VSO points.

At anytime the gap between WTO point and VSO point is called #Ayanamsha.

Today, in June, 2020 AD.. the Ayanamsha is 24° 28' 30".

So it means what you call 24° 28' 30" Aries today as per the tropical western, that same point is 0 deg Aries as per Vedic Sidereal.

Remember the formula

If

VC = vedic coordinate of a planet at a time t

WC = westeren coordinate of a planet at the time t

A = ayanamsha at the same time t

Then

VC = WC – A

WC = VC + A

Any planet which is at less than 24° in any sign as per tropical western... will go into the preceding sign in sidereal vedic

#NOTE – 

please note when you shift from western to vedic and vice-versa, you only change the coordinates (that describes the positions of planets). 

This does not affect the kind of motions of the planets. If a planet is retrograde, he will be retrograde in both Vedic and Western. 

If two planets are seperated by, say 120 deg, their seperation will be 120 deg in both Vedic and Western.... and so on.
