Trump is running the Dasha of Jupiter, the 8^th H lord in his Vedic Horoscope — a period astrologically tied to secrecy, hidden pressures, and foreign entanglements. Jupiter also aspects the 8^th H directly, intensifying covert influences.

Media reports (Axios, Times of Israel) noted that Netanyahu made a decisive phone call to Trump just before the strikes on Iran — described as the “closing argument” that sealed the operation. This suggests strong behind-the-scenes pressure from Israel.

Now, in Vedic terms, the 8^th H governs secrecy, transformation, and foreign entanglements. Under this Dasha, Trump may be acting under unseen strategic pressure from Israel, especially Netanyahu — a karmic twist that mirrors both the stars and the headlines.

🪐 Trump’s Current Dasha (as on 29^th March 2026): Jupiter / Venus / Jupiter

• Jupiter (8th lord) → secrecy, hidden pressures, foreign entanglements.
• Venus (10th lord) → career & authority, but placed in the 12th house with Saturn → Since Venus rules the 10th house (career, leadership, authority), its placement in the 12th suggests that Trump’s public role is being shaped by hidden foreign influences rather than purely domestic factors.
• Rahu + Sun in 10th → inflated ego, desire for heroic projection.

This Dasha sequence double‑activates the 8th house. Trump’s leadership decisions are being shaped by secret pressures and foreign entanglements — especially Israel and Netanyahu — rather than purely domestic motives.

Transit Saturn is currently moving through Pisces, which is the 8^th H in Trump’s horoscope. During this transit, Saturn is also casting its aspect on his natal Jupiter. Transit Saturn is therefore intensifying the weight of obligations, delays, and behind-the-scenes negotiations.

Could he have resisted Netanyahu’s pressure?

Ideally, he should have — if he had carefully evaluated the cost of this war for the United States, and how it could dent America’s superpower status.

Astrologically, Trump was born on a lunar eclipse day: the Moon eclipsed by Ketu, stripping away emotional intelligence, while the Sun inflated by Rahu magnifies ego and pride. Combined with Mars in Leo in the 1^st H, this makes him prone to impulsive aggression, projecting himself as a “hero.”

In such a situation, Trump’s horoscope shows a challenge in thinking wisely before acting impulsively. The temptation is clear: if he defeats Iran, he will be celebrated as a hero — a recognition he deeply desires.

How the future looks for him?

The irony is stark: he promised to end wars and even demanded a Nobel Peace Prize, yet under the karmic weight of his Jupiter Dasha and the eclipse-born ego, he has plunged America into an unnecessary war.

He will begin the Saturn Pratyantar Dasha (sub-sub-period) in June 2026. In his horoscope, Saturn rules the 6^th H and 7^th H, but is placed in the 12^th H, where it afflicts the 10^th H lord Venus in his birth horoscope. Saturn sub-sub-period will run between June and November 2026.

At the same time, transit Saturn has already been moving through Pisces, his 8^th H.

This combination makes the period ahead very challenging. He may face setbacks in the domestic mid‑term elections, risk humiliation both in the U.S. and abroad, health concerns, and even threats to his personal safety.

What should he do?

He should try to find a graceful exit from this war, countering both the covert and overt pressures of hidden forces that are pushing him to continue. Instead, he should focus on consolidating America’s economy and strengthening the position of the U.S. dollar in the international market.

Trump's Vedic Horoscope - Understanding him again in 2026

Donald Trump’s recent behavior has been marked by bold, confrontational actions and a striking disregard for consequences, often interpreted as both defiant and arrogant.

Trump latest statement (New York Times interview on January 8, 2026): "I don't need international law.... I'm not looking to hurt people.... Yeah, there is one thing. My own morality. My own mind. It's the only thing that can stop me."

He is running through Jupiter main-period in his Vedic Horoscope. Jupiter is placed in the 2nd House/Virgo in his Vedic Horoscope. Jupiter is also retrograde in his birth horoscope.

He speaks in a self‑righteous manner, so even when his words are wrong or illogical, he delivers them as though proclaiming the greatest truth in the world.

While analyzing Trump’s horoscope, I wrote this in my March 2025 analysis, which I widely shared with my followers and astrology clients through a WhatsApp broadcast at the time. Here is the exact passage from that earlier analysis:

"Astrologically, Trump was born during a lunar eclipse time. Trump is susceptible to be eccentric minded ... ...he can do anything without thinking much of the implications. He has highly inflated ego.

These two factors can make him take wrong decisions. Once he decides to do anything, he may not be willing to review his plan of action. He can be very unpredictable also.

It is very contradictory, but despite all this he is also susceptible to get under a very strong influence of someone who can make him feel like a God and then he will do and act under the influence of such a sycophant."

Presently, he is running through Jupiter/Venus/Rahu period in his birth horoscope. Rahu sub-sub-period started from Sep 2025 and it will continue till 30th January 2026.

We can see Rahu is conjunct with Sun in his horoscope in the 10th house/Taurus (he is Leo asc.).

Rahu + Sun in the 10th house makes him behave with arrogance; right now Rahu sub-sub-period is running so Rahu's effect is prominently active in his life and making him behave as if he is the king of the entire earth. He is making statements intended to belittle Prime Ministers and Presidents of other nations in front of him.

Moon + Ketu in his horoscope makes him insensitive to how others – and indeed the whole world – feel as a result of his actions. He may not care even if a world war were to break out as a result of his military adventures.

Mars is placed in his 1st house/Leo. He can behave very aggressively and may love to project himself as a charismatic-alpha-male leader. With Mars as the ruler of the 4th house, he has a strong desire to acquire new real estate and to subdue others through brute, arrogant aggression. We know that he is also a builder (real-estate business).

For example, he recently said, "We need Greenland from the standpoint of national security… Denmark is not going to be able to hold it."

Seeing Trump’s conduct, I am reminded of Indian MP Mahua Moitra’s statement in a different context: "The question is not who lit the fire; the question is who handed the matchbox to a crazy person?"

After 30th Jan 2026... he will begin the Venus sub-sub-period in his birth horoscope. Venus is placed in the 12th house/Cancer with Saturn.

Venus is also the 10th house lord, and we know 10th house is where Rahu + Sun yoga is present in his birth horoscope.

So, I will not be surprised if he becomes more militarily-adventurous and tries to gain control on other foreign countries. 

NOTE: Trump’s current push for massive military expansion echoes the overreach that contributed to the decline of past superpowers such as Spain, Britain, and the USSR. His administration has proposed a record defense budget increase — raising Pentagon spending from $901 billion in 2026 to $1.5 trillion in 2027 — while expanding military commitments abroad. This raises serious questions about sustainability and long-term consequences. At the same time, the United States is burdened by a national debt that has surged past $38.5 trillion, and economic performance remains uneven, with growth tempered by high inflation and widening inequality.

Ultimately, his behaviour will lead to his down-fall when he will develop the feeling that he is the biggest emperor. At that moment this same RAHU + SUN yoga in his horoscope will bring the biggest downfall of his life. He should remember that "Rahu first whips you... lifts you up... then suddenly drops you with a jerk."

In the near future, he may face his downfall moment between 9th June 2026 and 10th Nov 2026... during which he will be running through Saturn sub-period (Jupiter/Venus/Saturn period).

A Brief Analysis of Trump's Horoscope (June 2025)

Donald Trump is born during a lunar-eclipse... we can see how his Moon is exactly opposite to Sun; and Moon and Sun are both sitting on the Rahu-Ketu axis... with Moon sitting extremely close to Ketu [South Node].

(14th June, 1946; 10:54 am; Jamaica, NY, USA)

Since he is born with his Moon eclipsed by Ketu, he can sometimes become emotionally detached from things happening around him, and also from the effects of his actions on others. If he had become a YOGI this would have helped him attain the highest spiritual state of Samadhi.

But the problem is that he is not living a spiritual life. He is Leo ascendant and his Lagna Lord Sun is conjunct with Rahu in the 10th House. He wants power – unchallenged power (like a King) ... he cannot see anybody else getting any importance in front of him, and he is totally entangled into making big achievements in the material-world (effect of Rahu on his Lagna Lord Sun... in the sign Taurus).

So, now when he operates under the influence of Sun +Rahu yoga in the 10th H of his horoscope, then the Moon + Ketu yoga in the 4th H begins to work negatively. In his urge to gain more power and more importance... he is susceptible to become emotionally (Moon) non-sensitive [he may become very ruthless and unsympathetic].

Now, when we understand this factor in his horoscope, then we can understand why he is having an open confrontation with Elon Musk right now [who was one of his closest allies till recently].

Like Trump, Elon Musk is also very self-centred, non-emotional and power hungry person [he is Gemini ascendant with Sun and Mercury in the 1st House].

Trump and Musk can not both be friends for long because they both want to be The King, and they are both highly ambitious, egoist and non-emotional people to a great extent.

PRESENT DASHA running in Trump’s Horoscope: Trump is running through Jupiter/Venus/Moon period right now.

Moon sub-sub-period started from 21st Apr 2025, and it will run till 11th July 2025. This can be little risky time for him, his well-being, his health and his overall leadership. He may emotionally become confused and impulsively make wrong choices which can lead to he becoming unpopular and scandals exploding in public.

NOTE: it does not help that Mars and Ketu are also transiting through his Lagna (Leo) till July 28, 2025. He should be very careful for his safety and security. And he should be very cautious while traveling. It is important for him to take good care of his health. He should be very careful till July 28.

If I had any access to him, I would have advised him to Pray to Goddess Durga and do Anuloma Viloma Prayanama in this phase. He should avoid acting impulsively and try to keep a low-profile in this phase.

Donald Trump and Vedic Astrology - His present Time (July 2024 to November 2024)

He is Leo Ascendant in his Vedic Horoscope. Taurus is 10th house for him

·       He is presently running through Jupiter main period and Ketu sub-period.

·       From 30^th Sep., 2024 onwards he will run through Jupiter main-period and Venus sub-period.

Main-Period of Jupiter:

Transit-Jupiter is moving through the Taurus (10th house) this year. So, he is in the lime-light. Transiting through his 10th house Jupiter will also interact with his natal Sun and Rahu placed in the 10th H. So, this transit of Jupiter can potentially give him power and status [so may be, election win also]. Earlier when he was running through Rahu main-period he won the President election. His natal Jupiter is sitting in the 2nd H and from there the natal-Jupiter is also seeing the 10th H. And interestingly, both natal and Transit Jupiter are seeing the 6th House of competition (election fight).

Sub-period of Ketu [active now, and will continue till 30th Sep., 2024]:

·       Jupiter/Ketu/Saturn = from 18th June 2024 to 12th Aug., 2024

·       Jupiter/Ketu/Mercury = from 12th Aug., 2024 to 30th Sep., 2024

He is running through Saturn sub-sub-period also till 23rd July 2024. After that he will begin the Mercury sub-sub-period till 30th September, 2024.

So, it is clear, right now [July 2024] he is running through Jupiter/Ketu/Saturn period.

I have explained the main-period lord Jupiter already. Jupiter is willing to giving him power, status and election victory this year.

Let me now analyse the sub-period Ketu inside the Jupiter main-period. Ketu sub-period is a very dangerous time, as in his horoscope Ketu is eclipsing his Moon (Ketu and Moon are closely conjunct with Sun sitting in the opposite 10th House). 

Ketu is presently transiting through Virgo sign where his natal Jupiter is sitting. This can give him some spiritual awakening. But this can also possibly threaten his life and his security. We should not forget that among many things, Ketu can also represent “headless” people who unleash terror and kill people indiscriminately. He should be very careful for his health, security and safety till 30^th Sep., 2024 because Ketu sub-period will be active till that time.

Now, let me analyse the sub-sub-periods inside Jupiter/Ketu:

Saturn sub-sub-period [active till 12th August 2024]: Saturn is considered the most negative planet for Leo ascendant people. Saturn is even capable for causing death to a Leo ascendant people.

Yes, since Saturn rules the 6th H [fighting, enemies … etc] and 7th H [public-life] ... in his Leo ascendant horoscope, so it is matching with his life-event that he is fighting an election right now and is going out a lot in public. He should be careful for his health, security and safety in the Saturn sub-sub-period as Saturn is placed in the 12th H (hidden enemies, prison ... etc).

Transit Saturn is presently passing through Aquarius/7th house. I will take this Transit of Saturn as good transit for him in the present time because this Saturn moving through Aquarius/7^th H can allow him to spend lots of time in public (which is needed during the election campaigning). Although, it is also a fact that Saturn is passing through 4th House from his natal Moon (in Scorpio) which can give him emotional stress (or health issues or even risk to life). Transit Saturn is also currently opposite to his natal Mars in this 1^st H, it is a fact that Saturn-Mars opposition happening on the 1^st H-7^th H axis is not a very safe energy when he is also running through the Saturn sub-sub-period. Mixing of Saturn-Mars energy is known to give accidents and injuries.

Mercury sub-sub-period [active from 12th August 2024 to 30th Sep., 2024]: Mercury sub-sub-period will prove to be very gainful time for him as Mercury is 11th House ruler and placed in the 11th House. He will find great success in all kinds of political networking and group activities in the context of his campaigning. Mercury also rules the 2nd House of speech, so he will deliver good speeches and his words will reach great many people.

NOTE: But he cannot be careless for his health, security and safety in the Mercury sub-sub-period also, because Ketu sub-period will still be active and I have described the risk that Ketu is causing him.

Jupiter main-period & Venus Sub-period [from 30th Sep., 2024 onwards]:

Jupiter main-period I have already explained. Jupiter is working well for Trump in the year 2024.

Now, it is a great news for Trump that he will start Venus sub-period on 30th Sep., 2024 and the election is on 5th November 2024. Venus sub-period is definitely capable of giving him very good results.

Venus rules the 10th H [career, leadership] in his horoscope. Venus is capable of giving him the results of Sun + Rahu placed in his horoscope in the 10th House/Taurus. Venus is placed in the 12th House with Saturn in the sign Cancer. Venus is placed in the Punar Vasu nakshatra which is ruled by Jupiter. So, Venus sub-period is good for giving him a fairly high chance to gain power and status in life.

Jupiter and Venus are placed in 3-11 from each other in his horoscope. This is considered good mutual placement for main and sub-period ruler.

On 5th November 2024, Transit Venus will be passing through Scorpio/4th House. This is good Transit as among many things 4th H is also the royal-throne [President's Chair] for politicians. Ashtaka-Varga wise, Scorpio transit of Venus is good with respect to 6 natal factors [asc., Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus, Saturn]. So, I am seeing this transit of his sub-period lord Venus as good transit.

Transit Venus and Transit Jupiter will be in the opposite signs/house on 5th November 2024.

NOTE of Caution: Since Venus is sitting with Saturn, so he can give the effects of Saturn also. I have said this already that Saturn is very negative for Leo ascendant people. Saturn can even cause death to a Leo ascendant person.

So, he should be careful for his health and safety in the Venus sub-period as Venus may also be giving the results of Saturn. Both Venus and Saturn are placed in the 12th H (hidden enemies, prison ... etc), so he should be very careful

NOTE: Presently, Mars is transiting through Taurus (his 10th H). Transit Mars is going to conjoin with Uranus soon. This Mars + Uranus conjunction can trigger lots of uncontrolled or violent energy. Perhaps that is why someone attempted to attack on him on 13th July, 2024. We should not also forget that on 13th July, 2024 he was running through Jupiter/Ketu/Saturn period and both Ketu sub-period are Saturn sub-sub-period are risky time for him.

Since, this Mars + Uranus transit conjunction is happening in his 10th H, so his election campaign may actually benefit from this event [the failed attack] as his supporters may now rally behind him even more strongly.
