Diego Maradona – An Astrological Tribute

Maradona, one of the greatest football players, he died yesterday the 26thNovember 2020. So I just thought let me briefly take a recap of his journey in this life through his sidereal #VedicAstrology Horoscope.
----------------------------
His birth-data (available on the internet)
30th October 1960
7:05 am
Buenos Aries, Argentina
----------------------------

He is 4 deg. Scorpio ASC. rising in Vedic. This means he will be approximately 28 deg. Scorpio rising in Western. Scorpio rising people are generally short or medium height with well-proportioned and strong body, broad chest and short nose. He was of rather very short height at only 5 ft 5 inch.
He was born in a very poor family. The asc. ruler Mars is in the 8th H and the 8th H ruler Mercury is in the 1st H – he saw great transformation in his life, being born in a very poor family he grew up to become one of the greatest football players of all time and also earned billions of dollars.
This 8th H -1st H interconnection (that too involving Mars, who also rules the 6th H) gave him many illness, surgeries, accidents and injuries on and off the playground.

Mercury is also the 11th H/Virgo (11th H = legs) ruler and Venus rules the 12th H/Libra (12th H = feet). Both Mercury and Venus are placed in the 1st H. So his legs and feet become an important asset in giving his personality (1st H) an identity as a footballer.

3rd L Saturn is placed at 20 deg in Sagittarius in the 2nd H. And 1st L & 6th L Mars at 22 deg in Gemini/8th H. So Saturn and Mars are seeing each other from opposite signs (houses) and giving him (Mars is 1st L) great ability to fight (6th H) on the ground using amazing hand-body-legs-eyes coordination (3rd H).

In the 1986 World Cup Quarter Final Match between Argentina & England, playing as Argentina Captain his second goal against England has been declared by FIFA as the Greatest Goal in the History of the World Cup. “He received the ball in his own half, swivelled around and with 11 touches ran more than half the length of the field, dribbling past five English outfield players before he left the goalkeeper on his backside with a feint, and slotted the ball into the net. This goal was voted "Goal of the Century" in a 2002 online poll conducted by FIFA”.
But this same Mars-Saturn opposition (given that Mars is also the 6th L and sitting in the 8th H) gave him many dangerous fights with players of the opposite teams. He also drew criticism in the media for his temper and confrontational behaviour, both on and off the pitch. French newspaper L’Equipe once described him as Half Angel Half Devil.
2ndL Jupiter placed in the 2nd H in Sagittarius [in conjunction with Saturn] ensured that he made huge money out of the above described volatile exchange of energy between Mars and Saturn.
His football career begun in the year 1976, when he was running though the main period of Saturn and the sub-period of Mercury (we have noted above that Mercury is forming an exchange with Mars). He made his professional debut for Argentina Juniors on 20th Oct 1976.
12thL Venus in the 1st H , 1st L Mars in the 8th H and Saturn in the 2nd H (food), made him also get into drugs. His international football career ended abruptly (8th H), when he tested positive for drug use during the 1994 World Cup.
Maradona was notorious for his poor diet and extreme lifestyle off the pitch, including his use of illicit drugs and alcohol abuse. Moon is conjunct with Ketu in the 4thH, that further made him even more susceptible to drug addiction.
His Ketu main period ran between 1978 and 1985, and his cocaine addiction started in the year 1980.
He may also have suffered depression in life.
7thH/Taurus ruler Venus placed in the 1st H promised him marriage. 5thL Jupiter well placed in the 2nd H blessed him with two daughters.
Mars sitting in the 8th H in Gemini is seeing (Vedic Aspect) his 3rd H Capricorn – he had two younger brothers. Strong Jupiter gave him elder siblings too.
Venus a Kapha planet placed in the 1st H in the fixed watery sign of Scorpio, gave him the tendency of obesity and weight gain.
Rahu placed in the 10th H in Leo gave him the yearning to be successful in his career.
The 10th L Sun placed in the 12th H gave international angle to his career. But Sun in Libra in the 12th H is very weak, so he had low immunity and could fall ill easily.

Medical Science without Astrology

Judging a person's Ayurvedic constitution (dosha type) without comprehensive study of his Vedic Horoscope can be little prone to misjudgment:

Suppose there is a person X.

Suppose X's natal Mars conjuncts my natal Moon (which I may even be unaware if I have not seen the horoscope of X).

To me, X may appear to have pitta also as a dominant dosha in him (atleast in his behavior and traits).... he may appear to be aggressive and goal oriented to me at subtle level

And it is also possible that if actually in his horoscope Sun or Mars are not strong OR Aries or Leo or Sagittarius signs are not strong... then in reality he may not actually be a pitta dominant person.

WHY HINDU GODs HAVE Multiple Heads and Hands?

First thing, Hindus do not believe in many Gods, Hindus believe in only ONE GOD, who may by His(Her) will can manifest in any form and thus we can have many manifested forms of the same ONE GOD. Sometimes God assumes a particular form to match the emotion of a particular devotee. For example : I am a man, if a child starts seeing me as his father, and shows that kind of devotion and respect towards me, sooner or later I will get inclined to have fatherly emotions for that child (even if I am not his biological father). When as an imperfect human being, I can do that, then we can just imagine what The Infinite God is actually capable of.

In images, various manifestations of God, as per Hindu visualization, are shown with multiple hands and heads.
The pictorial representation of Hindu Gods having multiple hands in the human form is the artist’s attempt to express the supreme powers of Gods. It shows their immense strength and power to perform numerous acts at a single time.
Each hand holds some object which symbolizes the various qualities or power of that particular deity [a particular manifestation of the supreme God is a Deity]. Some hands are shown empty but with different mudras (hand gestures) of the fingers and palms that signify various messages.
Similarly, the pictorial representation of God with multiple heads shows the fact that God’s manifested form has many (infinitely many) characters/personalities, and the Deity can show any or all of them.
Hindus depict God as both man and woman, that is also to show that God is both, God can be a loving mother or a guardian father. In either man or woman form, God is very powerful and is capable of neutralising the biggest energy of adharma.
Often Hindus show various Deities (a Deity is a manifested form of the supreme God) holding various weapons in their hands. These weapons also symbolise deep meanings:
Paasa (Noose)- God can tie us, our desires, our temptations … etc. to make us follow the path of Dharma
Ankusha (Elephant Goad) – God can control our anger (like controlling a mad elephant) and may continue to guide us on the right path.
Churi (Sword)– spiritual path is like walking on a razor edge, and God can help us follow the path of dharma by cutting the un-necessary material attachments.
Gadha (Mace)– symbol of the power of Karma, a bad karma creates a situation similar to getting hit by a mace. Mace is also the symbol of God’s great power and strength.
Trishul (Trident)- Represent various trinities—creation, maintenance and destruction. And also past, present and future. This also means that God is the all in one and one in all (He is past, present and future… Time is the illusion created by Him).
Khatvanga (Skull with 8 coils of a snake) - Denotes the chakras of yoga indicating that the human body is controlled by me.
Khetaka (Shield)- Safety from all negatives. Indicates that I’m your shield.
Sankha (Conch)- Sounds Om. Announces that all this creation is within me and I’m everything.
Chakra (Discus)- Wheel of dharma, destroyer of adharma. Indicates that life is a cycle and adharma will get destroyed at the end.

JUPITER ENTERS VEDIC CAPRICORN. PART - 1

Jupiter will enter into the sidereal Capricorn sign at 13:23 Hrs Indian time on 20th November.

Transit of Jupiter and Saturn are often the most important ones among all the transits. And this time, as Jupiter will enter into the Capricorn sign, he will find Saturn already present there. So effectively Jupiter Saturn will be meeting in the Capricorn sign.

-----------------------------------

THEORY TO UNDERSTAND

Jupiter = > expansion, generosity, optimism

Saturn = > restriction, gloominess, disappointment

So this meeting of Jupiter and Saturn is the meeting of opposing forces.

When opposing forces meet, that always creates stress and instability. And finally that creates the situation for change and transformation FOR a new order in everything.

--------------------------------

Jupiter and Saturn conjoin at a gap of approximately 20 years.

This time, Jupiter and Saturn have been close since quite some time for the last one year or so.

When Jupiter entered into the sign Sagittarius on Nov 5, 2019, at that time Saturn was already in Sagittarius. But Saturn left Sagittarius on January 24, 2020 and entered into the Capricorn sign. So Saturn and Jupiter remained in Sagittarius together from Nov. 5, 2019 till January 24, 2020 – approximately 3 months. Although they did not come too close – Jupiter was at around 18 deg Sagittarius when Saturn crossed 30 deg Sagittarius and entered into 0 deg Capricorn. But during this phase, one more thing happened – Jupiter and Ketu (south node) crossed each other around 6 or 7 January 2020. So between Nov 5, 2019 and January 24, 2020 as Jupiter and Saturn were together in the sign Sagittarius, Jupiter also crossed Ketu on 6 or 7 January (Ketu and Jupiter moving opposite to each other). The whole COVID crisis got triggered after that at global level.

Then Jupiter moved ahead, and Jupiter too entered briefly into Capricorn on March 30, 2020. Saturn was already in Capricorn at 6 deg Capricorn at that time. So Jupiter at 0 deg Capricorn and Saturn at 6 deg Capricorn were very close as Jupiter entered the Capricorn sign on March 30, 2020. Before that on March 22, 2020 Mars too had entered into the Capricorn, and Mars was at 5 deg Capricorn on March 30, 2020 when Jupiter entered Capricorn for a brief phase. So Jupiter, the planet of divine blessing and optimism entered into Capricorn on March 30, 2020 to see two cruel planets Mars & Saturn very strongly present and fighting it out between themselves at around 5 or 6 deg. Jupiter was totally helpless in the firework of fight between Mars and Saturn in Capricorn, as Jupiter also debilitates in Capricorn. This was the time around which the lockdowns were imposed worldwide to stop the COVID spread, and this was the time of restriction (Saturn) and police-excesses (Mars).

Jupiter became retrograde on May 14, 2020 at around 1.5 degree Capricorn, and thus began to move backwards. Saturn was already retrograde in Capricorn since May 11, 2020. This was tough time for whole world due to the lockdown. Jupiter came back into Sagittarius on June 30, 2020.        This was partially helpful, because Jupiter came back into Sagittarius and Saturn remained in Capricorn, and lockdown conditions were partially relaxed in many areas around this time.

Jupiter moved back till 23 deg Sagittarius, and then became direct from September 13, 2020 onwards. Saturn too became direct on September 29, 2020 at around 1 deg Capricorn. Things began to move ahead a bit around this time. And the lockdown restrictions were further eased.

And now on Nov 20, 2020 Jupiter is entering into the Capricorn when Saturn is present at around 3 deg Capricorn already. This time it will indeed be a close conjunction from the beginning of Jupiter entering into Capricorn on Nov 20.

Note 1: I may write Part-2 of this also, depending upon the response

Note 2: all coordinates are Vedic sidereal.
