Exalted Venus in Pisces in the 3rd H. Venus rules the 5th H and 10th H. Career and work connected to communication, media, acting, self-expression. 

He is very eloquent with words and can charm people by his ways of speaking. 

The ruler of the 3rd H is Jupiter, placed in the 1st H in Capricorn. Jupiter (being the land-lord of the exalted Venus) is carrying the energy of the Venus in 3rd H and injecting into his over-all life-journey and very-existence (1st H) – so a charmer, a communicator, an actor… he can express himself through his body…such people are always good actors.

Saturn the ruler of the 1st H (self) and 2nd H (speech, wealth, family) placed in the 1st H in Capricorn. He is someone who looks after himself well… always well-dressed and meticulous in the way he presents himself. His own self is very important for him. His life is all about self-growth... he can be self-centric. 

 (carrying the energy of the 3rd H-placed exalted Venus) in the 1st H was enough to create in him the desire to self-express himself well, and add to that the fact that Saturn (1st H ruler himself, known for his meticulous ways) is also there – so now we can understand that why he is always so well dressed and well-groomed. 

Many females find him very sexy – this is what a powerful Saturn can make you, a beautiful face always requires a well-structured bone skeleton of the face (given by Saturn and Capricorn), and Jupiter bringing the charm of Venus to that.

Venus rules the 5th H of creativity and placed in the 3rd H of self-expression, same Venus also rules the 10th H of work and career… Venus is exalted, so this makes him very creative, very good at communication… all these traits directly connected to his work, and then Jupiter transferring the energy of this Venus to the 1st H (overall-life journey) where the 1st L Saturn (manager of life journey) is also placed.

So Venus, Jupiter, Saturn are making a big nexus involving 1st H (self), 10th (work), 5th H (creativity), 3rd H (communication, art), 2nd H (speech, face)… making him actively work (1st L Saturn in the 1st H) on the basis of the blessings that he is born with and gaining lots and success, name-fame in the process.

The 7th H rule Moon is also placed in the 1st H… giving him great popularity, and adding  lunar charm to his overall personality. 7th L Moon placed in the 1st H is a big  factor in making him very popular – Moon is important to make us popular in the society.

One interesting thing in his horoscope, he has debilitated Mars (in Cancer) in the 7th H, and debilitated Jupiter (in Capricorn) in the 1st H, and Saturn-Moon are together cancelling both the debilitations … so he through his own self-efforts and through his partnerships and relationships has the ability to reversing a disadvantage into an advantages and gaining status and position in the process.

His life began to transform (8th H) when he started the Rahu MahaDasha (Rahu main period) in January 1981. His uncle Jose Ferrer came to his city to make a movie on horses and he was given a small role in that. The movie was never released, but working in the movie made him crazy about films. Rahu is sitting in the 8th H (leo), and his land-lord Sun is sitting in exaltation (Sun in Aries) in the 4th H along with the 9th H (luck) ruler. Sun (8th H ruler) in the 4th H – activated in the main period of Rahu sitting in Leo – made him leave his home and come to Hollywood with $ 300 in his pocket. 

Here he stayed in a lodging provided by his aunt Rosemary Clooney, and he worked as her driver, and would also try his luck in films. 

Initially he worked in small movies, then as he inched closer to the beginning of Jupiter main-period (Jupiter main period started in January 1999) he started getting better roles – winning Best-Actor-Comedy Golden Globe award in the year 2000 just after Jupiter main period started. 

We have already discussed Jupiter-Saturn-Venus nexus earlier… his time had arrived.

Rahu main period also gave him marriage – Rahu is sitting in the sign Gemini (exaltation) in the 11th H in the divisional horoscope D9. He married in 1989 and got separated in 1992. 

After that he was involved in few romances – the most famous being with French model Céline Balitran for 3 years, ending in 1999, she got separated from him citing his lack-of-commitment (good looks and Mars in the 7th H – makes you get involved with many partners...Mars in the 7th is also seperative).

Jupiter main-period (that started in January 1999 and continued till January 2015) was very productive for him – he won Academy Awards for Best Supporting role in the film Syriana in the year 2006. In 2012 he received a Golden-Globe for The Descendants.

The 5th L Venus in the 3rd H gives him great interest in politics. This same Venus gives him very good organization ability, and the ability of management – he is also a director and a producer.

Sun (the 8th L of Catastrophes) sitting in the 4th H = he has great fear for earth-quakes, and he has a private home in the lakes region of Italy (away from the birth-place) where he likes spending most of his time, though still being connected to the mother-country USA (the 4th L Mars is aspecting the 1st H from the 7th H). 

The 12th L Jupiter in 1st H makes him desire a lot of privacy – the same Jupiter who as 3rd L placed in the 1st House gave him all the extrovert projections.

Mars (11th L) and Saturn (1st & 2nd L) in mutual opposition forming a big dhana-yoga (combination of wealth). 

 Ketu in the 2nd H may make him kind of disinterest with family-life.

 Ketu is the 11th H co-ruler, placed in the 2nd H – Ketu dissolves the boundaries and can make money available like a wind-fall, he may however be detached from wealth and money and family life. 

Ketu in the 2nd H may also give him the skills to say all the rowdy jokes that he does.
