Vedic Horoscope of Johnny Depp

 

He was born on 9th June 1963 at 8:44 am in Owensboro, Kentucky, USA.

Let me describe his sidereal Vedic Horoscope first:

• He is Cancer rising.
• He has Mars in Leo in the 2nd H.
• Moon and Ketu are placed in Sagittarius in the 6th H.
• Retrograde Saturn is placed in the 7th H in the sign Capricorn.
• Jupiter is placed in the sign Pisces in the 9th H.
• Mercury, Venus and Sun are placed in Taurus in the 11th H.
• ·Rahu is placed in Gemini in the 12th H.

He has 3 elder siblings. This is so beautifully seen from his 11th H as we see that there are 3 planets (Mercury, Venus and Sun) in the 11th H in the sign Taurus.

Moon is very important planet for him, because not only Moon is representing his emotions and mind (that Moon does in every horoscope), BUT Moon is also his ascendant lord as he is Cancer rising in his Vedic Horoscope. 

 

Moon is placed in the 6th H in the sign Sagittarius and inside the nakshatra Purva Asadha. The nakshatra Purva Asadha is ruled by Apah – the mysterious sea Goddess from ancient India. Purva Asadha is ruled by Venus among planets. 

 

So, at the time of his birth Venus Dasha (main-period) was running in his life. The sub-period or antara-dasha running was of Jupiter and the sub-sub-period or Pratyantar Dasha running was of Saturn. Saturn is placed in the Dhanistha nakshatra.

 

 

 

THREE FACTORS:

• His Moon’s nakshatra Purva Asadha and
• Venus main-period running at birth
• nakshatra Dhanistha in which Saturn is placed

All these 3 factors are connected to music, entertainment, art … etc.

 

This tells us why he got into music from early childhood when his mom (Moon) gifted him a guitar when he was 12 year old.

 

It is also a fact that people with Moon in Purva Asadha are often seen to struggle in their formal education [unless other strong factors in the horoscope are supporting education]. In his case, his Moon is not only placed in the Purva Asadha BUT also in the 6th H and conjunct with Ketu. So he dropped out of his school at the age of 16 in the year 1979 when he was running through Moon main-period and Moon sub-period in his Vedic Horoscope.

As I said above, he was born with Venus main-period running in his Vedic Birth Horoscope. Venus is placed in the sign Taurus in the 11th H in his birth horoscope. The main-period running at birth gives a big hint for the probable direction of a person’s life. He therefore was born with strong indications for a life connected intimately to music, glamour (that includes film industry), mass-distribution and earning huge profits... as Venus is 11th H ruler and placed in the 11th H in the sign Taurus, from his seat in the 11thH Venus is also seeing the opposite 5th H which is connected to creativity, personal-talent and entertainment … etc. Venus is also very closely conjunct with the 3rd H ruler Mercury – we know 3rd H is the house of communication and self-expression.

So we can understand why he initially triad to make a career in music and later he joined film industry also as actor. Mercury as 3rd H ruler in the 11thH gives him great skills with communication and it also makes him very enterprising, so no wonder that he is a great actor and he is also a film-producer.

Very strong retrograde Saturn is placed in his own sign Capricorn in the 7th H. Saturn when he sits in the 7th H will see the 9th H of father and 4th H of mother. Saturn is also the 8th H ruler. Saturn as 8th L can give changes. The 8th L Saturn seeing the 9th H (where the 9th L Jupiter is also sitting) changed his father when his mother divorced his biological father John Depp and married with Robert Palmer. Johnny Depp has admitted that his step-father was a good inspiration to him.

8th L Saturn seeing the 9th H (where 9thL Jupiter is also sitting) is also creating some mystery about his ancestry as Johnny Depp has claimed without any evidence that he also has some Native American Ancestry. 8th L Saturn seeing the 4th H made him CHANGE his home so many times in his childhood that he does not remember one place as home.

If we add to the above Saturn’s effect the fact that his ascendant lord Moon is placed in the 6th H with Ketu then we can understand that why "He started smoking at age 12 and became a chain-smoker. He lost his virginity at 13 and was using all types of drugs by 14. Known for flouting authority, he was a school dropout at 16, taking odd jobs to get by."

 

Ketu + Moon often gives some kind of eccentricity and in his horoscope Moon is also the ascendant-lord and Moon+Ketu is happening in the 6th H – so he had a very imbalanced vagabond kind of life as a teenager and also as young adult.

Rahu is sitting in the 12th H in Gemini, that may have been one of the main reasons for his struggle with addictions of alcohol or drugs. or sex

People with their ascendant lord in the 6th H are likely to experience break-ups and divorces in life. He has been in and out of many relationships and marriages. Such people with ascendant lord in the 6th H are also likely to face litigations and accusations in life.

All these things in his life have gained a lot of media-attention in the recent past because of the court-trial that has happened between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard. Johnny was accused by Amber for domestic violence so Johnny had filed Defamation Suit against Amber Heard. 

 

Currently, Johnny is running through a very favourable Jupiter main-period in his birth horoscope, so the majority public opinion has been in his favour and court order also came in his favour.

Sun is the ruler of the 2nd H and placed in the 11th H and from there Sun is seeing the 5th H. Venus is the ruler of the 11thH and sitting in the 11th H in conjunction with the 3rd H ruler Mercury and 2nd H ruler Sun. This powerful combination between 2nd L Sun + 3rd L Mercury + 11th L Venusin the 11th H [and all these 3 planets also seeing the opposite 5thH] is the reasons behind he becoming so rich in life through success in the entertainment world. Since this is happening in the 11th H, so he has won many awards also.

 

Sun is also the strongest planet in his horoscope and Venus is the 3rd strongest planet. So Sun + Venus is a very powerful Dhana-Yoga (combination of wealth), and very strong Sun is also giving him great name-fame-and-power. He has huge number of fans. Venus in the 11th H has given him great popularity among females.

 

Saturn as 7thL in the 7th H (with Saturn being the 2nd strongest planet in his horoscope) is also creating a strong raj-yoga (combination for power and status) for him. Saturn in Capricorn in the 7th H is basically one of the Maha-Purusha Yogas (called Sasha Yoga).

 

IMMEDIATE FUTURE

 

As in June 2022, he is running Jupiter main-period and Venus sub-period. Venus is placed in the 11th H in his own sign Taurus and inside Kritika nakshatra (which is ruled by 2nd L Sun). Financially this is good time for him. Time till July 2022 is very good for his career and his popularity. But he should take good care of his health and safety.

MY ADVICE

• He should always practice Anuloma Viloma Pranayama, that will be good to make his ascendant lord Moon become stronger for him.
  
  
• He should regularly engage in SOCIAL-SERVICE (he should physically involve himself in serving the OLD or ILL or Handicapped or exploited people). He may also serve the mother nature

What kind of Man he is?

I think, despite all the struggles, addictions and imbalances that he has gone through in his life, he is intrinsically not a bad man – why? – because 9th H ruler Jupiter is placed in the 9th H and is seeing the 1stH and 5th H. Jupiter’s influence on ascendant, 5th H and 9th H will ensure that he can not be intrinsically a bad man. Jupiter and Moon are in mutual Kendra (quadrant) with respect to each other, that is also supportive for him being a good human being.

 

So I also feel some of the accusations that his ex-wife made on him were highly exaggerated or even wrong.

Understanding Planets as People

 

You S is a person. You have many natural traits. Someone can write a whole book in describing all those natural traits and tendencies that you possess.

 

Example : Individual planets like Mars, Jupiter or Saturn ... etc. Know them as personalities.

 

And then you get a job - suppose you get the job of a teacher. So functionally you are a Teacher.

 

You may own one or two houses ( your house H1 and H2 ).

 

Example: for a particular ascendant, a planet will rule one or two houses. For example, for Leo rising horoscope, Mars rules the 4th H and 9th H. So functionally Mars is the ruler of the 4th H and 9th H. 

 

You are right now somewhere ( some house H3). Now since you are in H3, you can operate in H3 only ....you will use the resources present in H3 . You will affect the activities going on in H3. While operating in H3, your aim will always be to do something here so as to nurture your own house H1 and H2. 

 

Example: Mars can be present in some house in the Leo rising horoscope. Suppose Mars is present in the 11th H/Gemini. Mars will therefore operate in the environment of the 11th H, he will use the things and the activities of the 11th H as resources for himself and he may also interfere in the working of the 11th H. While operating in this manner in the 11th H, Mars will always be looking for giving the results of the 4th H and the 9th H, as he rules these two houses.

 

And you are a teacher - you have to act as per that. All your natural talents and traits will have to be used in you acting as a teacher in H3.

 

Example: if it was Aquarius rising, then Venus would rule the 4th H and 9th H. And in this case if Venus was placed in the 11th H/Sagittarius then the only thing different from the earlier example of Mars for Leo rising horoscope [Mars and Venus have same functional roles and same house placements in the two cases respectively] is the natural differences between Mars and Venus in terms of their  behavior, traits and tendencies.

 

Your boy friend may be living in some other house (H4). So you will also like to affect the affairs of the house (aspecting).... sending signals (like we may call using mobile phone and that way influence the other place).

 

Example: In the example of Leo rising horoscope, the 4th H and 9th H ruler Mars sitting in the 11th H will see (vedic aspect) the 2nd H, 5th H and 6th H.

 

So to understand your operation ...

• I need to understand you, the person [understand Mars the planet]
• then know where you are (H3) [Mars is in the 11th H/Gemini]
  
• which are your houses and (H1 and H2) [Mars rules 4th H and 9th H]
  
• where is your boyfriend's house (H4) [Mars aspects 2nd H, 5th H and 6th H]

ASTROLOGY - KARMA - REMEDIES

 

People misuse their free-will that they have OR they knowingly engage in wrong or dishonest activities,  and then they blame planets in their horoscope when they experience bad time.Whereas planets only try to give us the results of our own past (life) good or bad karma.

Astrology is a road map with guidance. People have mistaken it as a magic wand to remove all the effects of past karma that they have done and they expect that by performing remedies they will be able to avoid all the upcoming results of their karma. But it does not work that way.

 

You cannot expect your good after doing someone's bad, you or your future generations will face the effects in someway or the other.

 

JUST AS A CALF FINDS ITS MOTHER AMONGST THOUSANDS OF COWS AND GOES DIRECTLY TO HER... IN THE SAME WAY PREVIOUSLY PERFORMED ACTIONS CERTAINLY FOLLOW THEIR DOER

 

Remedies ease the coiled up path, but most often the path remains same (except when God gets so happy on you that He is willing to change everything).

 

So when you go to an astrologer, and ask him to explain you your birth horoscope so that you can understand the Karmic Road Map of this life - you understand the opportunities and the challenges you have.

So if you have some freewill in the present situation of your life (you have the liberty to choose from multiple options that what you want to do or not do)...

Then...

1. Do your work/duty (in profession, in family, society ... etc.) with sincerity and honesty.
2. Say prayers daily
3. Spend some time in serving the old, ill (in your family also), poor... etc.
4. Do something for mother nature.
5. Do some charity
6. Respect your GURU, parents and grandparents.
