Lata Mangeshkar is one of the greatest play-back singers of Hindi Cinema. She has been given names like Queen of Melody, Nightingale of India and Voice of the Millennium to acknowledge for her sweet and flawless voice that was extremely melodious. She has sung almost 8500 songs in her career.
She recently died on 6th Feb 2022 at 92 years of age. I am writing this
article on her Vedic Horoscope to pay an astrological tribute to her.
She
was born on 28th Sep 1929 in the city of Indore in the present-day
Madhya Pradesh state of India. There has been some confusion regarding
her time of birth but I used astrological techniques to discover/confirm
her birth time, and based on that I feel that she was born around 11:50
pm.

This gave her soft and beautiful voice. She has Rahu in the 10thH from
Moon, so she was able to mesmerise everyone with her voice.

Why she worked in Film & Entertainment Industry?

As per this birth data she is Gemini Ascendant rising. The ascendant
lord Mercury is retrograde and in placed in the 4th H in his own sign
Virgo.

Virgo placement of Mercury is considered very powerful. So, this is a
hint that she was born with the promise of become a privileged
personality.

Since ascendant lord Mercury is placed in the 4th H, so this connected
her life to culture and cultural activities and we all know that cinema

Her
4thL Mercury is retrograde and placed at 29 deg in Virgo in the 4thH.
So, she went for unconventional education. She did not go to normal
school and studied music at home first from father, and then from other
teachers. 2ndL Moon in the 2nd H made her choose the family’s vocation
as the basis of her education as her father had been directing Marathi
Musical Plays.

1995-2013 – Rahu is well placed in the 11th H in his enemies sign
Aries, Rahu is sitting in the 12th from the 10th L Jupiter; Rahu is
sitting in Scorpio in D10.
· Jupiter main-period between 2013-2029 – Jupiter is 10th L and sitting in the 12thH/Taurus. She kept on receiving public respect
but she was less active physically (12th H). Jupiter is also a maraka
